PSTET Application Form 2022
The PSTET application form 2022 will be available online. Candidates can fill the form by following the steps mentioned below:
- Visit the official website – https://pstet.pseb.ac.in
- Click on ‘New User’ tab
- Read the instructions and proceed
- Click on the ‘Registered User’ tab
- Register for the exam by entering the required details
- Fill the application form
- Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature
- Pay the application fee (INR 900 for general category and INR 600 for SC/ ST/ PH category)
- Submit the form and save the confirmation page
PSTET Exam Pattern 2022
PSTET is conducted in two sessions for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The PSTET Paper 1 is for Classes 1 to 5 teachers and Paper 2 is for Classes 6 to 8 teachers. Check details exam pattern below:

PSTET Syllabus 2022
PSTET syllabus includes topics from Child Development and Pedagogy, Language, Environmental Studies, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies subjects. The level of questions in PSTET Paper 1 is of secondary level and in PSTET paper 2, the level is of senior secondary level.

PSTET Selection Process 2022
PSTET is conducted to determine the eligibility of the candidates applying for teaching jobs for Classes 1 to 8 in Punjab schools. PSEB doesn’t provide employment after candidates qualify the PSTET exam. The exam merely determines the eligibility and accordingly PSEB provides the PSTET certificate to candidates who qualify the exam. Candidates can apply for teaching jobs after obtaining the certificate.
